Summary: Dorothy Gale 1ives Kansas with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry and dear dog, Toto. Kansas is is a very sad grey place but Dorothy has Toto who makes her happy.
One day, there's a tornado but Dorothy is still in her house instead of a shelter, with only Toto to keep her company. The twister picks up her house and brings her to a strange land filled with color.
She meets The Good Witch of the North who tells her she's in Oz and that she has killed the Wicked Witch of the East by squishing her with her house. Dorothy is scared because she would never choose to kill anything, not even a wicked witch!
Even if Oz is filled with color, Dorothy wants to go home. She misses her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. The Good Witch tells her to follow the yellow brick road. To be continued...

Why? I liked this book because it was a exiting story about magic, friendship, and home. It is different from the movies like Oz: the Great and Powerful or the Wizard of Oz. I was surprised to find out that the Wicked Witch of the West couldn't hurt Dorothy because of a magic kiss Dorothy got from the Witch of the North. I liked that Dorothy can't get hurt even if in the movie she could. I also liked that there were parts that were in Oz: the Great and Powerful such as the Little Town of China Dolls. Instead of the dolls being broken like in the movie above, they are all ok and in one piece. Every version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is fun but it is exiting to read the original story.
Scary scale 0-10: 0
Why? This book didn't scary me because I had heard the story many times. I had noticed that in every other version the bad guys are scarier but in this version they can't hurt Dorothy.
I would love to see more of my fans so make sure to follow and be a awesome super cool fan and followers 😀.
